Hosted by our new Restaurant, Food & Beverage and Agricultural Committee, the Hawai'i Lodging & Tourism Association is pleased to announce the first of a special two-part webinar taking place for February 23 at 4 p.m. Our distinguished panel will examine a critical part of Hawai‘i’s hospitality industry that works to bring Aloha to visitors everyday. Segment 1, entitled "The BIG Picture – Hawai‘i’s Restaurant, Food, Beverage and Agriculture Sectors," will feature key industry leaders and stakeholders who will:

Define each sector and thier key roles in the industry

Demonstrate the interdependency and influences that exists today

Discuss Strategies for Rebuilding Together

The event will be kicked off with remarks from Mufi Hannemann, HLTA President and CEO and Dylan Ching, Vice President of Operations at TS Restaurants. This is to be followed by a discussion panel, moderated by Dean Okimoto, Hawai'i Agriculture Foundation Chairman. The panel will include the following participants:

Restaurant – Peter Merriman, Chef/Owner - Merriman’s Restaurants
Food Distribution – Russell Hata, Chairman, President & CEO - Y. Hata & Co., Limited
Beverage Distribution – Aaron Pennington, Vice President, General Sales Manager - Paradise Beverages, Inc.
